This is the Blog of Pastor Matthew Harris in Adrian Missouri. I am married to my beautiful wife, Michelle, and I have four grown sons.

I love the outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and metal detecting. If you do not find me doing one of these things then I am probably running, taking a nap, watching a movie, reading, or serving the Lord in some way.

I was raised in a Christian home where my dad served as an elder in the local Church. Personally, I became a follower of Christ at the age of eight and I have tried to live as a faithful follower ever since. That lead me to Ozark Christian College in Joplin Missouri and finally into full-time Christian ministry. I have been a preacher for over 29 years in Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Alaska, and now back in Missouri. I preach at Adrian Christian Church where I have been since July 1, 2014.

During my time in the preaching ministry, I have come to learn one incontrovertible truth – Everyone needs a second chance sometimes. I firmly believe that our second chance is found in Jesus. On this blog, I want to share my thoughts on life, failure, marriage, church, and anything else that helps people in their walk with Jesus.
