Glue is amazing stuff. It can take broken pieces and bring them back together into a unified whole. A quality adhesive will remain unseen when it dries and will keep its strength for a lifetime. My woodshop teacher in High School used to tell us that most glues are stronger than wood. When correctly applied, the final product would be stronger than the original broken piece.
I picture God as the glue that holds my life together. He remains unseen and yet pulls all the broken parts together to form me. He brings strength to the shattered fragments and makes it better than I ever imagined. My mistakes are now part of the beauty that makes me a one of a kind creation.
Today I thank God for bringing everything together as only he can do.
Colossians 1:17 “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
